Dear readers, in
this article we are going to discuss religious issues, the aim of these
discussions is that we would like to suggest, how we could reconcile that part of religion that does
not agree with today religious views.
But before I do that, let me write a
prayer to God, asking God to help me to write these articles: you see, I feel more
connected to God of the universe, after I pray, so, let me pray.
Almighty Father, I
am praying you with all my heart, my soul, and my mind hoping that in your mercy
you would forgive me all my life sins and you would make me clean of any
impurities that may affect my soul, so that I become worthy in your eyes to
write these religious writings according to your will. Father hear my prayer and help me,
amen.
Now that I have
said a prayer to God, let us go back to our discussions. I believe that it is
obvious that if we want to reconcile anything, we need to discuss our
differences; we are going to talk about any difference and see what is right
and what is wrong. Anyhow, our discussions are about our religious beliefs, and
our aim is to modify existing religions, if they need to be modified, because
we see that they do not work properly, so, we suggest modifying existing
religions.
We know that this may
alarm people but let me pray God again, to guide and help me.
Almighty and
merciful Father, with my personal concerns I come to you praying, with all my
heart, my soul and my mind, hoping that in your mercy You would guide and help
me to write this article of reconciliation talks, I ask this in the name of our
Lord Jesus Christ, Father hear my prayer, amen.

Religious reviews.
When we look at the religious world today, we see
that religions do not work the way they must work, therefore, we believe that religions
may need to be reviewed and modified. This is one of the reasons we are writing
these articles.
Now, the most important articles that we have
written deals about our religious beliefs; we have written them because of the
extremist groups that use religious beliefs in such twisted ways, these
extremists do terrible things; one of which is the 9-11 terrorist attack in
USA; but that is not all, because today while I am editing this article the
Islamic State terrorist group are killing innocent people, just because they
don’t belong to their religious group; then, we have the atheists threats that
want religions to disappear.
So, these religious articles are being written to
find and suggest a way how to avoid the terrorist threat, for this reason, we believe that
religious changes are required. Now, since the terrorist groups are active
these days; the atheist group is in second place.
Anyhow,
to prove to the atheists that God exists, we have written, Man needs God,
where we claim that God exists at least by definition. Anyhow, we explained
that Man needs God because it has been so since the beginning when man became
able to think abstract things, so, they invent many gods as we know from the
world history.
Now let us talk about God and how we see God today,
we believe that God is different to the God described in the Bible, so, we have
formulated a theory hoping to find a way to describe this new living God, who
can be life or life energy capable of helping life to exist.
We have also written, , Religious options of the future, where we explain the needs for a new form of religion; in this article, we start saying that some religious changes need to happen, this in mind now we are going to write more religious views.

Religious writing views.
We are writing these articles to describe a new way
of religious beliefs. To do that we are describing God in a different way to
the God described in the Bible; therefore, now we want to find a way, how to
describe this living God, who can be life or anything that make life possible.
Therefore, we are looking for ways how to explain this, and we want to take our
readers step by step to see how we believe Gos could be.
You see, we have written and published others
religious articles, we have had discussions with our religious friends about
religions, and from these discussions, we have concluded that to make sense
with religions, we must review all existing religions and find if there are
other meanings why religious books have been written the way they have been
written, and why religious leaders interpret religions the way their forbears
thought them to believe.
So, the main aim in this article is to review those
religious beliefs and meanings, in the hope that we can come up with some
explanations, that can help us understand this religious situation. Now, to do
that we need to start from the beginning with all religions. In this case,
because my friends and I are Roman Catholic and this is the religion that we
know most, we must be looking at the Bible and what it teaches us. Anyhow, we
believe that there are meanings in the Bible that are exaggerated, for this
reason the atheists are finding it easy to attack religions.
Having said that, I start thinking what is the most
important issue that needs to be looked at, and suddenly it comes to my mind
the first thing that the atheists attack religious people, is about creation.
You see, the atheists do not believe that God created anything as it is said in
the Bible; they believe that whatever exists today has been created from
natural forces, so, God has nothing to do with creation, because God and God’s
creation is our human invention. Now I want to say that we cannot prove to the
atheists that God exists, so, the next best thing that we can do is to adjust
religious meanings in such a way that they can make sense to the atheists as
well.

Meeting with our religious friends.
The other day we talked about the Bible with our friends. And this is Mark speech in a nutshell,
If we want to see why the Bible has been written
the way it has been written, and why we understand the Bible the way that we
have been taught, then, we have to start from the beginning and use our logic
reasoning minds, to see if what we have been taught stands up to logic human
reasoning; therefore, when it does stand up to our human reasoning, we have to
try to see the reasons, and then we can decide how to proceed with our own
religious beliefs.
In my opinion I feel that in those times when the
bible was written, it made sense to the believer; you see, people have always
needed religions and a God that could protect them from what they could not
protect themselves, so, this God that was shown to be superior to the other
existing gods, was welcomed from the believers, after all the Israelite needed
this God to free them from the Egyptian, so, Moses their leader provided that
God when he went on Mount Sinai, he met Yahweh (God) as a burning bush, from
there we know the rest of the Jews story, the story that for thousands of years
has gone on and has become the largest religion in the world.
Here I want to point out that this religion has
done a lot, and even though today there are several religions from it, because
it has changed; this religion has guided lots of people in a meaningful way
until today. But today there are people that do not need religions anymore. so,
the atheists want to see religions disappear.
Now let me say how I see religions today: Today we
have to view religions in two different ways; the negative part of religion is
that the Muslim religions are linked to terrorism, these terrorist are a threat
to everybody including the religions themselves.
Anyhow, I believe that most people still need
religions; we have always needed religions even if the atheists believe that we
do not need them. But, how can we let religions disappear? I believe that it can
never happen.
We need to look at today religious set up, as a way
of life that has been proven for centuries to work well with people; therefore,
people will not accept drastic religious changes. But if we can work out what
can be done without upsetting the whole system, then we could move to the next
religious system, which very likely is inevitable: I am saying it is inevitable
because everything changes with time and religions change. We must look in the
past to see that two thousand years ago people had different religions
altogether.

When Mark stopped talking; I and Gino thought that there was a need to say more. So, I asked Gino to say something himself, knowing that Gino is very crafty with his ideas.

I know that our friend Mark has said many wise things
that make sense, but what he has said stops short of giving us a solution about
reviewing the Bible and other religious books, indeed it is hard for any of us
to find a solution for these religious problems, therefore, I believe that it
is not going to be easy. Perhaps we may have to find another way around that does
not upset religious people, and at the same time suggests something that could
stop what is going on.
But the only thing that I can suggest now, it is
that we can review the Bible interpretation, but we have to be careful, we must
make sure that everything is written in such a way that is all seen as a
suggestion of the possible present situation. It needs to be written in a
conditional way with plenty of ifs and maybes, so that the readers can make
their own minds up as they go along; we also need to remind the readers that
what is being written are only suggestions, so, only time will tell what is
going to happen to religions in the future.
Well that is how I see this situation and what the religious leaders may be able to do today; this is the main thing I wanted to say to you, now you can make up your own mind.
