An imaginary afterlife scene. One of the beliefs that mankind would like to believe in is; the existence of God and the existence of the afterlife. We would like so much to exist forever that we accept anything that promises us that opportunity that is the way that we would like to believe.

Dear readers, let us try to answer what we were talking about in our last post; which is that we believe that this is Mankind ways of believing in God

We may have to agree to this following statement that most of mankind has always believed that there is a God, and that there is very likely an afterlife, and therefore we keep asking ourselves what is God like? And how would this afterlife be like? And also we ask ourselves many other things, of course most of us have been told from our elders how these religious things or beliefs would be, but we have our own doubts and we keep asking again and again.

Now, if we look at the religions groups or denominations of the world, there are very few groups of believers that agree and believe about the same religious things, and yet if one examines the entire religious world beliefs, one cannot say that this group is right and the other groups may be completely wrong, because it may always be possible that some of the other groups beliefs might be right. So no religious belief can be accepted as the whole truth, and neither discarded completely as false.

Therefore, if one wants to find what’s true and what’s false about religions one can’t discard anything at all from any religion, and one must also include those people that don’t believe in anything at all, and those who believe only in scientific explanations, because they believe in something even if they don’t believe in anything.

So, one has to put together all religions including all sorts of beliefs, even those people that don’t believe in any religion at all, in order to find out what they have in common with the rest of us. Because, there are reasons to believe that even if they seem so far apart there must be a point where they all meat together. So I believe that if one wants to find the truth, one has to try to find the point where all sorts of religious and non-religious beliefs may have in common. And one has to widen one’s field of views, as much as its need to be widened, so that they include all known, unknown and possible beliefs.

So at this point one may as well ask: But what sort of God would be able to represent all these necessary requirements? Therefore; could it be possible that there exist a God like that? Or: Is there really a God, or there is no God at all?

My own answer to the questions above is yes, there must be a God because there is life and God is the active life force of the universe that makes life possible. If one day we find out that there is no real God like person, one could always say that God exists at least by definition, we have already written a hub about this article and here is the link to check it out; God exists, 8

My personal beliefs are that I believe there is a God, because if I didn’t believe that there was a God I would not be thinking about God, and God would not have come into my thoughts or dreams. So I would like to point out this to you, that we all come from God because that’s the only possible way to exist, since we believe that God is the existing life-force that gives life to all living beings or things.

Therefore, we that are living happen to be part of God life-force, I mean here that we represent life and therefore we represent God life-force in a very small way of course, as God life force may well be so extensive that we cannot even be able to think about it all.

All what I have said I will try to explain presently when I write about God life force of the universe, that is when I write my theory about God of the Universe, In my writings of Reconciliation of the Universe, there I will describe how God could or would be like and in control of the whole universe, this is a link to this hub; God of the universe 66

The new religious theory

Since our religious theory is very much a new way of looking at religious beliefs, I have been feeling reluctant to bring my theory forward presently, because the public might not accept our religious theory unless it is published at the right time, that is at a time when such a theory would be accepted more easily, and that may well be far away in the future, when people become tired of all the violence that the present religious system seems to condone nowadays, only then, they will become aware that a new religious system may help to end the violence, and therefore then, they will be searching for a way out for ending this violence for good; only when all this has come to pass, only then it would be the right time to publish my religious writings.

However I don’t have that much time and I cannot wait because I am growing old, so, I have to write and publish my religious writings now, I know that my theory of Reconciliation of the Universe will not be accepted just yet, but I cannot wait, so whatever happens to my writings does not matter that much, at least I have tried to do what I had to do, or perhaps I should say what my human souls is driving me to do now, even though it might not be the right time to do it; Let me explain:

During my life sometimes I have had the experience that there are times when we are doing a task and while we are doing this task suddenly a thought or idea comes into our mind and that thought or idea is the best answer to our problems; in a parallel way while I am writing my theory of Reconciliation of the Universe, this idea comes suddenly into my mind, this idea I don’t know where it comes from, but it is like what some people call vibes which in the end might prove to be right, in my case here these vibes are creating a problem that I wish to avoid.

So although now I will write my theory it doesn’t mean that I will have to publish it now, I may have to wait until the time is right if I am going to follow my vibes, and hope of guessing it right. So, my vibes tell me that I should not publish my religious writings of Reconciliation of the Universe before the year 2038; But because I have no time to wait that long, I am publishing them now while I am writing them. I also know that my religious writings need to be edited many times before they will be ready to be published in book format; so I am taking my chances by publishing them now as they are in hub pages, and also I know that I have to edit them many times before they become clear enough for the public to understand; but anyhow just be happy to know that you may be one of the first to have read about the future of religions, as I see them.

The Bible is the most read book in the entire world. There are many reasons why it is so; the Bible is the ancient religious and History book of the Jews, it has given rise to several different religions in the world, but even though they come from the same book these religious groups are not the same and seem to argue a lot.

One of those religions that derive from the Bible is Christianity; this religions follows the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ, which being a Christian myself, I believe that is one of the best religions. You see we need religions because, we need to believe in God.

We need to believe in God

Believing in God and therefore religious things could be good for all humanity, unless religions are used for other purposes and not plain religion, history can prove that if we look overall at the positive side of religions, we will find that it has had a good influence overall for a very long time, of course there are also a few negative issues, but if we think about them we find that we have to blame the leaders of those time and not religion itself, because those leaders have led the people to believe what was not right, anyhow for the time being let us talk about believing in God.

Now if one believes that there is God, it becomes obvious that there can be only one true God whom is the God that somehow created us all, even if this God turn out to be somehow different to the God that we have been taught when we were young, which very likely is going to be, because it could be the only way to solve the present religious problem.

Therefore, we have to assume that there is a God because there is life, and we have to assume that God and life might be one and the same thing, therefore, there cannot be any other God or god life force, unless it is God or the god life force that created us all; this will apply even if the creation might not be necessarily according to the Bible.

Okay, what we have said above may or may not make sense to some of us, but as we have said before today there are different groups of people that have different religious beliefs, and because there is this difference in beliefs, one can easily assume that there is something wrong in their religious beliefs. We have reasons to believe that the fault has got to be with humankind and not religion itself, because mankind usually changes things around in order to gain an advantage for them, so there are religious faults everywhere we look.

During my life I have become aware, that also our Roman Catholic religion has had faults and has made many mistakes in the past; but even if it is so, today if I had to choose one of the existing religions, I would still choose my Roman Catholic religion for being one of the best religions in the world.

Now talking in general terms, I have come to the conclusion that in all religious beliefs, there is something that is not perfect or clear to be understood, or perhaps distorted to the point where it becomes obscure, and it shows only part of the whole picture. Sometimes I think that this state of religious things has been done purposely complex, so that it is hard for anybody to say what is right and what is wrong. Therefore I have been thinking about the complexity of religions and their differences, so, nowadays I have formed my own beliefs about religion and God.

As you all know in a situation like this, the first question that we ask ourselves would be: Is there really a God? Or: Why should we believe that there is a God?

Well there are no real answers to such questions. But we will try to answer these questions our own way, while we try to express our own religious beliefs, including how we have come about to believe in what we believe today; you see, what most people are thought to believe today sometimes might not make sense, because it does not connect properly to everything we know, so there might be another explanation that can connect everything together, perhaps we should not thing that God is like a person, because it is impossible for a person to have all the attribute that God has, for instance, a person cannot be everywhere but God is everywhere, so, it is more likely that God is a life force that covers the entire universe, and a small part of it is capable to turn into anything he wants and even a person, therefore we might have to view God, as the life force that covers the entire universe, that could and would be the only way that make possible to explain the existence of God and everything else.

God existing life force

If we start thinking about God and life, we may have to believe that we all come from the same existing life force/s that rules the universe, which today we call God, but perhaps we should call this existing force, God-life-force of the Universe, as this life force represents all living things. We might also have reasons to believe that we carry within ourselves the genes of our ancestors, and in these genes very likely there could be engraved all our human life history, and if one could go back through them to the beginning of time one could find the truth where we come from, but since this is not possible for any of us, then one should hope that there is a sort of record within our genes, which would give us a sort of intuition and of belonging, and that this intuition drives us to feel what it would or should have been like if we knew our beginning. Therefore we may feel that, we have not lost all our knowledge of belonging, because we carry it engraved deep within ourselves. The problem only arises because we can’t read our own genes history, and therefore we are left only with a feeling, that there is a confused and very weak sense of belonging within us to a life force that we call God. Here I have to say that sometimes I feel that way myself, therefore I hope that if I follow my instinct I might be on the right path.

Therefore, I believe that if we try to look very deep within ourselves, and really try to search our own feelings exhaustively, then our weak and almost lost sense of the original belonging, which we call our instinct should or could pick up some vibes, and these vibes will make us see or feel a sense of belonging, and this sense of belonging should be able to guide us to our own origin and therefore the truth.

Therefore, if one lets oneself be guided from our innermost instinct, which is our innermost inborn sense of belonging, then one should be able to feel and see the truth: Provided that one makes sure that while this soul searching is going on, there are no personal earthly gains involved in any way in reaching any conclusion that may come out of this soul searching.

Today most of our present day religions, including all the main religions make us believe that there is a god and there is an afterlife, and that our own present life is made up of two entities put together, one is our body and the other is our soul or spirit; now we can easily explain to ourselves about our own bodies, but our spiritual part is that part of us that can’t be explained easily, since it can’t be seen and it belongs to God as it is of the same substance of god life force of the universe, you see, God gave it to us so that we could live on earth.

Now it follows that at our death our body returns to the earth and our soul or spirit should return to God, so our soul or spirit being part of God life force energy is immortal. The folklore tale or truth says that at our birth when we received our spirit, our spirit was made to forget where it came from, so we are not sure where we come from, but there is a sense of belonging left in our spirit and this sense of belonging drives us to search for the truth, if we search our soul very carefully we may be able to find it. All these things put together lead us to believe that there is a God or god life force, and also that there is an afterlife, this is the only way that everything put together can be explained, so let us see next what people say and how they behave about these religious beliefs.

The Bible is the most read book in the world, and many religions have something to do with the Bible, it is also the history of the Israelite, but the most important thing is that the Bible gave the ancient people this explanation of how the world began and the reason why we are here. Today some of us might not believe everything that the Bible says, but it has guided humanity for many centuries, so, there are a lot of things that still would make sense today.

May God guide and help me to say the right religious things?

This article or post is still one of our pre Reconciliation of the Universe articles, paving the way for our readers, so that it would be easier for them to accept to read our religious theory for the future. So let us start to talk about how I and some of my religious friends came by our religious beliefs which we believe today:

Let us start by saying, that believing in God and therefore religions is generally good for us, and also all those religious things that help us understand the nature of religions is good for all humanity. Let me talk about my own religious case, you see when I was very young as a child, I was taught to believe that there is a God and many other religious things. And since I happen to have been born in Italy, where most of the people are Roman Catholic, as I grew up I was taught according to the Roman Catholic Catechism, and those rules in the catechism helped me during my younger years to believe in God, and all the rest of their religious beliefs, that has made this religion one of the best religions in the world, since it is based on the teaching of Our Lord Jesus Christ and partly on the Old Testament.

So, for many years I have believed in those Roman Catholic religious beliefs, just the way that they had been taught to me when I was young, even if there were times when I had some doubts about them, because I was just like everybody else, sometimes I was thinking that perhaps there might not even be God or any spiritual things at all; and I am sure that this is one of the doubts that everybody seems to have during their lives every now and then, but generally I believed that everything was just the way that I had been taught.

But as I have grown older my beliefs have changed considerably, starting from when I left Italy my native country to move to Australia. In Australia I have met so many different people with different religious backgrounds, Therefore, from here and there I have learned that there are a lot of other religions, and some of them seem to me to be very good religions too, so, I have noticed also that the majority of them come from the Bible, which is the same book that the Roman Catholic have with a few changes here and there; but these other religions that we are talking about they all seem to be a bit different from one another to some degrees; and it is this difference in their beliefs that causes friction in religions: Because any believer that really believes in his/her religion will believe that his/her religion is the only right religion to follow, sometimes are just the religious leaders of the time that somehow make the people believe that their religions is the right religion.

Therefore, there are lots of misunderstandings and mistrusts between religious people, and it is for this reason that they argue which one of them is right, or sometimes virtually they fight each other, which is a real shame, because the real purpose of all religions is to have a set of rules to follow and to be able to live in peace with the rest of the world, to believe that there is a loving and benevolent God, to love God with all one’s heart and love one another as well, this is what all good religions are supposed to teach and achieve and should achieve.

But today there are some extremist religious groups that want to make us believe otherwise; so they twist their religious beliefs to the point where everything becomes so mixed up that they would even kill using God’s name, which is a real shame and it is also so far removed from everything good, and this brings down religions and even God’s name, people should understand that God represents life itself, therefore there is no way that God needs people to kill each other, after all life is a part of God himself; but not only that, you see the entire world needs a benevolent God that look after his own children, since God really represents life and is supposed to be to Father of all existing life; we could add here that this is one of the reasons why we need God and religions.

Therefore, we believe that these extremist religious groups should be ashamed of themselves, they should also check out their religious beliefs before they act, because we are pretty sure that a true God would never order to kill any human being, especially nowadays. This sort of behaviour might have been acceptable in the past, when people were more violent than today, and they did these killings for themselves in order to subdue the other people, sometimes they were led to believe that they did this in the name of God, but God did not know anything about it until they did it. Anyhow those were other times and those times ended with the coming of Jesus Christ, at least we believe that this is the purpose of Jesus Christ coming.  

Now we would like to add here that this is one of the reasons why we are writing this new religious theory of, Reconciliation of the universe, where we are trying to bring to the attention of the people, that if we redraw part of present religious beliefs, as you will see when you read our religious theory. However, in order to do that we need to modify and suggest some new ways of beliefs, which might alarm some of the real believers that believe anything that they are being told, so let us write an article to them for their peace of mind, and then pray God to help us.

To anyone who is a believer and believes in God and other religious beliefs, please read our religious writings of, Prayers for Reconciliation and Reconciliation of the Universe fully before you pass judgement and quit reading; you see Prayers for Reconciliation is only an idealistic theory, which through discussions with other fellow believer (and perhaps non-believers) is trying to find a way on how to link all existing religions together, in the hope that by doing that religious groups would not be able to fight each other any longer in the future on religious grounds; Reconciliation of the Universe is a theory that might be able to achieve just that.

Our Father in heaven, to you I turn God Most High, and I start to pray with all my heart, my soul and my mind. In the name of The-Father The-Son and The-Holy Spirit I am praying, hoping that the ever present guiding force of the Holy Spirit on earth would guide and help me; So that, I would be able to write our religious writing as humanly as possible according to your will, and in such a way that humanity could accept them and use them for the future benefit of mankind. Father, hear my prayer and guide me! Amen.

Dear readers, we have written again this article, for our readers’ peace of mind, just because we believe that religious people may get upset and stop reading our posts.

There are lots of religions in the world, it seems that several of them derive from the Bible the religious book of the Israelite.

Dear readers, we have called this article, humanity and religious dilemmas, because we are going to talk about our religious dilemmas that we see happening every day, it is also another prelude of our theory of Reconciliation of the Universe, it is a prelude because we want to make the public interested and ready to read our religious theory that we are going to publish here soon, therefore we tell the public whatever we could to get them ready, and of course it is also the continuation of Prayers for Reconciliation, which we are writing in the hope of finding an answer to these religious dilemmas for all humanity; we also would be talking about, what people could or should believe in our religious writings, but of course these are only our suggestions and people a free to believe whatever they want.

I know dear readers, at this very moment you might be asking yourself, how many preludes are there before the real theory of Reconciliation of the Universe starts? But you see, Reconciliation of the universe theory is a new way of seeing spiritual being or things, and I has a seer, I believe that if we try to set religious beliefs according to this new theory, it might be able to solve most of the existing religious problems that exist today; and well we have to say that there are still a few chapters to go through before Reconciliation of the Universe starts, but you see these preludes are really an explanation why Reconciliation of the Universe is being written and therefore we believe that explanations never seem to be enough. Anyhow let us go back to the main article.

May I attract the attention of our readers that here; the purpose of writing these religious writings is mainly to find a way, on how to reconcile religions to other religions and also religion to science, if that will ever be possible. Therefore, we would like to point out to you that we have purposely written the previous article in order to show you the obvious mistakes that occur in the Bible; first about the Flood that could never have been at least to the extent that the Bible claims, because of the geographic position of the Dead Sea and other things, and that also other civilization and religions have stories about flood, this here under is a link to one of their stories;

We have also talked about the fact that in the first book of the Bible ‘Genesis’ the time length of events that occurred from the Flood to the birth of Abraham are incorrect as we have shown in the previous hub of, Theist and atheist views and here is the link if you want to check it out: Theists and Atheists views, 55 This is all about the example we wrote about the Patriarchs after the flood.

Then we explained that, if we want to know how and why these mistakes have happened, we have to use our own imagination and the knowledge that we have today, so, it follows that one has got to find out with nowadays knowledge of those known events and other stuff, what could have been the length of time that elapsed between these events.

Now, these examples above bring in another questions, since what is written in the Bible sometimes is not correct; Then, how old was the world since the beginning of times and the time of Abraham; and there is only one possible answer to this question; millions of years, that is if we try to use our own imagination from what is known today.

Therefore, if we want to believe anything in the Bible about time elapsed, it could and perhaps would be more correct to assume that: Every day of the Lord Creation in the Bible could equal one million years or perhaps millions of earth years, this would help to explain the reason why religion and science don’t believe in each other, since the reason seems to be mostly because of the time length past between events. Of course there is also the fact of the Flood that never was to confuse us even more. But we have to be able to see that who wrote in those times had very little knowledge compared to nowadays, so they wrote what they knew, even when they wrote with their heart and mind thinking about God, and also wishing that God would guide them while they were writing their religious writings.

Now that we have pointed out some of the mistakes that the writers of those times have made, and also, now that we have shown you that the Bible is not reliable as it was supposed to be, we would like also to tell you that there are lots of spiritual truths in the bible, so we still need the Bible to help humanity understand many things that otherwise would be hard to understand. So, let us look for some religious beliefs and why we need God and religions, which are the eternal dilemmas of humanity.

Having said all that we believe that some of our religious readers might be upset, because of the changes that we are suggesting, so usually here we would write a short article for our readers’ peace of mind, but this time we suggest that they read this article in our previous hubs, as there are several of them already written. So let us continue to write our next article; the eternal dilemma of humanity.

The eternal dilemma of humanity

During our life we cannot help to wonder and ask ourselves many times: Who are we? Where do we come from? Why are we here on earth? What is the purpose of our life on earth? And, where are we going to be after our death? And do we have a soul? Then if we believe that we have a soul, we would wonder if there is an afterlife and any other spiritual things that we might believe exist.

These are most of the questions that everybody will ask oneself several times during one’s own life. So we turn to religion in the hope of finding our answers there. But even here there is no clear answer, as there are too many religions and beliefs to be certain, some of these religions believe that definitely we have a soul, and after our death the soul will be judged according to what we have done during our lives, other religions have a softer approach and perhaps some doubts about that, but most of the religions have in common that some spiritualty exists one way or another, but, there is not clear agreement about what happens to our souls.

So, it seems that we have a double life to worry about, one is the body and another is the soul and we would like to find the meaning of our life for both, therefore we are forced to try to find out what is the meaning of our life and while we try to find what our life might mean within the existing religions of our planet, we can’t help to reflect about religions nowadays and we unwillingly are forced to admit that there are too many different religions in the world. And then, although religions should have been made for the people of the whole earth to love one another, in some cases they seem to achieve the opposite. We are saying this because it often happens that some people fight one another for their religious beliefs, here we mean just for the sake of their own religious belief, this is really one of the greatest shame of the religions for mankind, since religion should mean to everybody love your neighbour as yourself, as our lord Jesus Christ said; but in these cases it does not.

For this reason we have been thinking and we have reason to believe that there must be a way to avoid these religious frictions.

So, since today existing religions don’t seem to agree with each other, because of the so many existing religions, somebody somehow has got to come up with a new religious idea that will have to satisfy everybody, and has got to make sure that this new idea should not antagonize any other existing religious directly, and perhaps also the atheists.

The only possible answer to this problem is that we have to come up with a new religious theory or beliefs that will incorporate all existing religions, so that all existing religions would be able to link and accept in a way or another; and that somehow this new religious theory could be accepted even by scientifically orientated people. You see, it needs to be done in such a way that all the different people of the world will believe in the same God and the same religion, and at the same time it will not upset any existing religions.

Therefore this new universal modern religion that we are going to suggest must be built in such a way, that it would be universally accepted in the future, if possible without reserve from all the people of the world.

Therefore, religions have got to be explained in such a way that makes everybody feel equal, and if there is some difference in beliefs it must be very little, since one must be able to see that in the end no matter to which religion one belongs; we all believe in the same benevolent God that created us all or has helped to create us all, therefore we should believe in the same god and the same religion. Then all sorts of arguments about religion could be avoided, since this modern religion will demonstrate that we all come from the same God, and that, God in conjunction with mother nature has made life on earth the way it is today.

Today every able thinking person has got his/her own beliefs about religion, even if that person has got no beliefs at all, because they believe in not believing in God or religions.

Therefore as we have said, we have our own beliefs which we would like to share with you. Of course it is not going to be easy for us to write about our God and our own religious beliefs, because it is a very hard thing to do if we want to describe clearly our own beliefs; for a start, the way that we perceive God today is different from the God that we have been thought when we were young, although is the same God that we believe created us all; therefore we need to say that we see this God in a different way and we are going to describe this God that we see in Reconciliation of the Universe religious theory, this God will be a benevolent life force that gives life to every living thing.

Let me explain, you see anyone who wants to try to achieve a super religion like the one that we have mentioned above has got to be very careful what he has to say. I believe that one should start thinking like this, if one had the power to describe a God capable to satisfy all humanity; how would or could this God be like?

So, there are good reasons to believe that God must be described in such a way that will not create friction between religious people, since God can only be described as being benevolent and therefore love and therefore stands for the good of all community, so the people have to understand that this is what God stands for. May God forgive me if I have got it wrong?

At the moment we have got an idea that may make it possible to achieve what we have just said, since we believe in a new concept and see God somehow different from the way that we have been thought when we were young, as I have started to explain above and we will come to a better explanation when we write about our theory.

You see, since what we want to say is a new concept and hard to readily explain, we have to ask pardon to our readers if we wander around in circles, because we are not able to find the right words to express our new religious idea, in such a way that it will mean exactly what we intend to say to you. Perhaps there are no words to express our idea in a simple way, so we have to keep going around while we try to make a start somehow.

Before today, there have been many great persons before me, whom have tried to express their own beliefs in religious matter, and they have said whatever they wanted to say in many different ways, and in doing so they have been able to reach a very high standard of expression and public understanding, but they have never been able to convince the whole world, that what they were teaching us was exactly right beyond any doubt. Because there have always been some people left with some doubts. So, what we are going to say here is not going to convince you either entirely, but never the less we want to express here our own religious beliefs. Or perhaps we should say that, what we want to say here is not really a religious belief, but a belief about how should a universal religion be made, in order to be able to serve the whole world without upsetting anybody religiously.

We believe that somehow we may be able to achieve this, if we try hard enough. So this belief of mine, which at this moment is only an idea that is taking slowly shape into my mind; but I believe that it is perhaps a belief greater than the greatest idea ever expressed in my whole life before now. I believe also that this religious subject happens to be one of the topmost subjects in importance to all mankind, and most people have tried to talk about it since the world started, in the hope of finding the best possible solution to these religious problems.

Therefore now that we have got this new idea, which might help to solve this religious problem, and because of this new idea we have made up our minds to write these beliefs down, therefore now, I will have to try my best to express them in my modest own writing ways, since I am not a real trained writer but only a try hard writer, that try to express my own beliefs and some other people views on religions, therefore I hope to convince you that what I am trying to say could even be the right thing to do.

Of course in the religious world, one has got to keep in mind that the very same religious thing may mean different things to different people. But with the help of God, we hope to find a way to describe our own beliefs in such a way that it would be possible for everyone to understand our religious theory.

Since our religious theory is very much a new way of looking at religious beliefs, while we would like to publish our religious writings, at the same time we are reluctant to bring our theory forward presently, because the public might not accept our religious theory unless they are ready for changes and the theory is published at the right time; about this issue we are going to talk in our next hub, hoping to be able to state when such a theory would be accepted more easily, and that may well be far away in the future, when people become tired of all the violence that the present system brings nowadays, and they become aware that a new religious system might help to end the religious violence, and therefore then, they will be searching for a way out for ending this religious violence for good; therefore only when all these events have come to pass, it would be the right time to publish these sort of religious writings that we have in mind, because, only then they would be accepted easily from the public; but at the same time the public should know that a new theory is available, because if they know, then it would be easier for them to get ready and accept the new religious theory. So, in reality we don’t know what the better way to go is.

The Flood example

Noah ark is a biblical story, and even though something like that might have really happened, we believe that the flood was never as immense as the Bible wants us to believe that is why we would like to prove it, with this article.

Dear readers, this post are our continuation of our previous post, Mankind religious beliefs’, as we wanted to write about these examples to make our point of view clear, so let first of all write about the universal Flood written in the Bible.

There are reasons to believe that the universal Flood has it is written in the Bible has never been, because it cannot have happened to that extend, where all the earth would have been under water, but at the same time there must have been a great flood, just because it is written in the Bible, but it must have not been as widespread as it is written in the Bible, and not at the time the Bible writers want to make us believe it happened. If anything like the universal Flood happened, it must have been several thousands of years before the date that the Bible claims The Flood has happened, and we will explain you why hereunder.

Let me make this as simple as possible, today the Dead Sea in the Middle East is 423 meters below sea level and so are also the surrounding lands of the, Jordan valley- Israel- Jordan, even the sea of Galilee is 208 meter below sea level, therefore a lot of land in this geographic position is below sea level. The point we want to make here is this; if there ever was the Flood as the Bible claims it to have been, then all these low laying areas should have been flooded, since the bible claims that all the earth was under water, which has never been the case, I am saying this because it is impossible for all that 423 meter deep of water to evaporate since then.

If there ever was the Flood, it must have been much small than what the Bible claims, or it must have happened hundreds of thousand years before, so what is written in the Bible is not correct, this is the first reason why some events in the Bible are not correct.

On this subject the atheist would say that most civilizations have a story of a major flood that happened for various reasons: we know they are right and we can find some of these flood stories on the internet if we look for them, even in the Greek and Roman religions, there is this flood that Jupiter with the other gods caused, because people were bad and they wanted to destroy them, so the flood in the Bible is not the only flood in history. As you can see this is not the only flood of the ancient world, and we would be able to find more examples if we keep looking for them. Anyhow now let us look at this timing example that the writers made also a mistake:

 

Explaining timing example

In this example again the timing elapsed between happenings events is wrong; I suppose this has happened because in the past there was no way for them to keep records properly, so it was easy then to make these sorts of mistakes.

I am talking about this because I have noted it myself recently, while I was reading the Patriarch in the Bible. Now, this does not imply that the religious book in question that one is reading is false, (in this case the Bible) it only means that the writer of the Patriarch wasn’t aware when he wrote the book that those dates or number of years mentioned in his writings would not add up correctly.

Therefore, I am led to believe that the writer must have been concerned only about the events, just because it is the events that shows the way and makes one believe in religion, whatever the believers need to believe.

But if something is not written the right way then it is wrong, and it doesn’t make sense and one should try to explain the reasons why it happened, and perhaps a way on how it could be fixed; that is if that mistake needs to be fixed and could be fixed at all.

In the past everyday people and even the writers themselves were not aware of these mistakes because they were not as learned as nowadays, and perhaps also a bit careless, because those who wrote the Patriarch could have done a better job if they had checked what they were writing then. So, one is lead to believe that they wrote only to keep religion going the best way they could and if something was not correct it did not matter. As long as they were able to keep the believers faithful their job was done, and they have been able to do that until now. But nowadays when almost everybody can read, and with the help of the computer in most households if anything is not correct it will soon show up.

Therefore some religious books are long overdue to be explained, why they have been written the way that they have been written, and could not be corrected in the past, but they can only be explained for future readers. So I am going to try to do some explaining myself, while I am writing these religious writings of, Prayers for Reconciliation including Reconciliation of the Universe.

Now, before I change to a different topic, let me say this; since I am writing most likely I will make many mistakes, I know I will, because I am not a trained writer, I am only a self thought writer who is trying hard to write my religious points of view, just the way I believe they are; So, if and when, my religious writings were to be published: Hereby I invite the future learned religious people or any other learned people of the world to set things right. And above all I invite them to criticize and straighten any of my mistakes, and try to improve my own ideas wherever they need to be improved.

Now, I need to explain once again that what has driven me to write these religious writings are some happenings in my life, so, it is all because I wanted to write down my own religious beliefs, and therefore I wanted to read some religious books, just to make sure that I would have the right ideas about what to say in religious matters, even if my religious ideas may happen to be different from my religious readings. So, I started to read from beginning to end the most read religious book of them all the Bible, and as I kept reading it I became aware that in Genesis although the writer mentions always how many years the Patriarchs lived before the flood starting from Adam and so on, and all of them seemed to have lived a very long life span compared to nowadays, but there is no mention of the time past overall, and one can only guess that there was a great length of time overall; this is from the creation of Adam and Eve, to Noah and the flood, as written in the Bible.

So, I was led to believe that the writer of Genesis did not have the knowledge of the time that actually had past between these events. And it seems to me that he is only writing the story as it has been told from generation to generation, anyhow the length of time is not very important, as everything is in the past, with the exception of seeing whether it would be correct or not. The same thing happens also later on, when the writers talk the events after the flood; so let us look at the Patriarch after the flood.

After the flood

In The Patriarch, after the flood, again the writer is writing a story the way that it has been told from generation to generation. But here somehow it becomes too obvious to an observant reader, that the numbers of years mentioned don’t add up at all, because the number of years and the generations that the writer mentions, are not enough to achieve the re-growth of the population, and the events that happened during that mentioned time frame. So if the reader takes time to work it out for himself, he would become aware that there must be quite a few generations missed out, it also contradicts other length of time, and here I would like to write everything down to show you what I mean.

Just to make it a little bit easier to calculate, it would be helpful to take, The Flood, as year zero, and then one could calculate the years that have passed since the flood according to the writer list of The Patriarchs. So the following is how it could be worked out.

Start counting from, The Flood, taken as year zero. 0

Shem descendants, only the first born would be written in here:

Shem, became the father of Arpachshad two years after the flood; 2

Arpachshad, became the father of Shelah, when he was 35 years old; 35

Shelah, became the father of Eber, when he was 30 years old; 30

Eber, became the father of Peleg, when he was 34 years old; 34

Peleg, became the father of Reu, when he was 30 years old; 30

Reu, became the father of Serug when he was 32 years old; 32

Serug, became the father of Nahor, when he was 30 years old; 30

Nahor, became the father of Terah, when he was 29 years old; 29

Terah, became the father of Abraham, when he was 70 years old; 70

So, if we calculate the number of years past according to this list, from the

Flood to the birth of Abraham there are only 292 years accounted for. 292 years

Abraham lived for one hundred and seventy five years then he died. 175

Therefore, Abraham died 467 years after the flood according to this list.

It is written in the Bible that Noah lived 350 years after the flood, and Shem, the son of Noah lived 500 years after the birth of Arpachshad, So that means that he lived 502 after the flood, then both Noah and Arpachshad should have been still alive at the time of Abraham if the list above were to be correct. In fact if everything in the list was correct: Shem, the son of Noah would have been outliving Abraham by 35 years, and that seems highly impossible.

Now we have also to take into account the growth of the population that had tried to build the tower of Babel during that time, which is after the flood and well before the birth of Abraham, therefore 292 years as I have worked it from the list above, could not be enough time for the population to grow that much and try to build the tower of Babel. There is also the fact that they could not even think of building the tower of Babel so soon after the flood, while Noah and Shem were still living, because they could see what the people were doing and would certainly forbid them to do that, since they would have known that it would anger Yahweh. Therefore they would certainly forbid the building of the tower, and their offspring would listen to them, since they knew that Noah and Shem had seen the power of God during the flood. Therefore the building of the tower of Babel must have happened at least a few generations after Noah and Shem died.

By taking in consideration what I have said above, I reckon that there is at least one thousand years, and perhaps up to two thousand years not accounted for, in the list of the Patriarchs as shown above.

Of course the writer of Genesis never intended that the list above be understood as I do now, it may be that he wrote the story as it was told by his ancestors, or perhaps he wrote a longer list of the Patriarchs that got lost and nobody knows how to find it now.

Notwithstanding what I have said above, we have to take in consideration that when the book of Genesis was first written, the writer had to overcome lots of limitations that were present at those times. The very first limitation was that there were no other religious books before this one; there wasn’t enough writing material to write on; there were only a few people that were able to write. Almost everything in those times was passed through words of mouth from generation to generation, therefore when happenings were too old or too many to remember people just started to forget them; and I am sure that there were even more limitations that I have been able to mention, so many that one would never been able to think of the many limitations of those times.

Therefore the writer of Genesis did a real great job, if one considers all the possible limitations that were against him. And the book of Genesis is as good as could have been written at that time, the value of the book stands high because one has to read it as if it is correct for religious purposes.

Our views of religions

My dear readers, I hope that after these explanations above that we have written, in out subtitle article of “Explaining timing example” and “After the flood” you are able to see what I mean, when I say that religions need to be reviewed, or at least explained why they are written the way that they have been written, so that people can still believe in religions and God, this also include the atheists, whom believe in not believing in any religions at all, but you see even them believe in not believing, therefore I have to conclude that mankind needs to believe in something, one way or the other.

In these religious writings of, Prayers for Reconciliation and Reconciliation of the Universe, I am trying to write a theory about God of the universe that may help to achieve religious co-operation worldwide including the atheists. This religious theory is going to show how I believe the spiritual life forces of the entire universe could coexist together, and they would able to achieve what needs to be achieved, in order to run the spiritual part of the universe, which I believe is in another dimension, and also be able to run our life on earth with whatever links we are linked with to the spiritual dimension. I hope that you follow our religious writings to the end to see what we are going to write.

Anyhow, we have written about this theist and atheist views and explained as much as we could, but there is still a lot to be said and we will continue to write later on in another article.
